Waco works on the new iconic building of Battersea’s skyline, London, United Kingdom
Waco produces divers concrete elements for a large scale residential project.
The project provides 299 flats, communal landscaped gardens and a newly built world-class headquarters. For this new build project in the centre of London, we are producing various precast concrete elements such as beams, lintels, columns and facade elements. The facade elements on the ground floor are produced in a custom-made pattern. A major challenge was the weight reduction and perfect surface finish on all sides. Elements with large volumes have a core of EPS. This results in a weight reduction of 60% and the elements still meet the structural requirements.
